If there is one ranking factor that you can consider more important than backlinks, it is content.

If your content is truly great, it doesn't matter whether your article has two fewer links to it than your competitors'; it will still rank higher in Google's SERPs.

Therefore, content optimization is crucial to acquire tons of relevant organic traffic to your website.

We have launched three new features in ClickFlow's Content Editor that will help elevate your content strategy so you can beat even the biggest competitors in your niche.

Let's go over these three new ClickFlow features and see how to use them effectively.

Feature #1: People Also Ask (PAA) and Related Questions

The PAA box is a Google search feature that displays a set of questions that are related to the user's initial search query. These are the questions that people most commonly look up on Google.

For instance, if you search for “what is content marketing,” then Google also displays a set of related questions as shown in this PAA box:

Similarly, Google provides a set of related searches at the bottom of the search results page. These are eight in number, and all the phrases closely match the user's initial query:

That's why we launched our highly anticipated “Questions” feature.

How it works is simple. As you write your blog post or article in the Content Editor, relevant questions will now appear on the right-hand side by clicking on the “Research” tab and then choosing “Questions” from the drop-down menu:

Simply keep these questions in mind as you write or edit your piece of content. In fact, the PPA questions make great headers.

The more answers to these questions that you include, the better aligned you will be with search intent, giving you a greater chance to rank and capture more traffic inside Google's PAA boxes.

How to Use the “Questions” Feature

Log in to your ClickFlow dashboard and select the project (i.e. the website, if you have more than one) for which you want to create content.

Click on Content Editor in the left menu bar, and then click on the green “New Article” button:

Suppose you want to write a blog post on the topic “How to do content marketing on Facebook.”

Enter your topic in the “Choose your target keyword” field, select your article language (English in this case), and choose from a list of country-specific Google search engines where you want your article to rank. By default, it will be “United States (Google.com)”:

Now, hit the blue “Save” button. The tool takes a moment to collect the topic information, so sit back, take a sip of your coffee, and think about the awesome blog post you're about to write!

After the processing is done, click on the article title to open it in the Content Editor. You will see two tabs in the upper right side: “Relevant Terms” and “Research”:

Click on “Research” and you will see a list of related questions that appear in the People Also Ask (PAA) box and in the related searches section in the Google SERPs.

Suppose you want to include the PAA question “How do I post engaging content on Facebook?” for your new “How to Do Content Marketing on Facebook” article. Click on it and you will see that it is suddenly highlighted in yellow. Now, click on the copy icon next to the highlighted question, and voila! it will automatically be added to the writing area:

This function makes it super easy to include every PAA or related search that you wish to use in your content. As you can see in the above screenshot, all your included PAA questions will get displayed in the writing area.

Now you can start writing your content without any additional PAA keyword research. ClickFlow automates the entire task for you!

Where is the data pulled from? Both the PAA questions and related search data are populated directly from the “People Also Ask” and “Related Search” results in Google.

Feature #2: Competitor URLs for Research

What is the best way to get your content on the first page of Google? Make it better than the content already ranking in the top 10 search results.

Instead of guessing what info to include in your blog post, the best SEOs today reverse-engineer what's already working for the competition.

This is why we launched our brand new feature: Competitor URLs.

How to Use the “Competitor URLs” Feature

When you click on the “Research” tab in the Content Editor, you will see a drop-down list of  “Questions” and “Competitor URLs”:

Choose “Competitor URLs” to see the top ten organic competitors. For each of the URLs, you will see the title of the article, the URL/brand, the ranking number, and the date the article was published (if they show that):

Clicking on the URL takes you directly to the blog post. This ClickFlow feature makes it easy to hop over to the competition's article and analyze how good or bad it is in order to take a new and better angle in your own piece.

Content analysis and research will help you prepare 10X better content than what exists on the Internet for your chosen topic. (This is called the Skyscraper Technique, by the way. Learn all about it in the below link.)

There is no need to visit Google to identify and click on the top-ranking URLs; ClickFlow's new feature automates the competitor research process for you.

Using both the Competitor URLs and the People Also Ask features will help you gauge the type of content Google is serving for your target keyword.

Feature #3: Internationalization

The third new feature, Internationalization, enables you to use the Content Editor for non-U.S. SERPs.

When you log in to the Content Editor and create a new article, you can choose other languages besides English for your content. The tool offers a massive collection of both national and regional languages.

Select from a long list of 100+ languages such as Hindi, Italian, French, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Slovak and many others:

Based on your selected language, you can also choose your preferred country-specific Google search engine so that you can identify your local competitors and find relevant PAA searches in your targeted local language.

How to Use the “Internationalization” Feature

Log in to your ClickFlow dashboard and select the project (website) for which you want to create content.

Click on Content Editor on the left side and then click on the green “New Article” button.

Let's say you decide to write an article in Hindi and the topic is “ध्यान कैसे करें” (which means “How to meditate” in English).

Enter your topic in the “Choose your target keyword” field in Hindi, select your article language as “Hindi,” and then choose from a list of country-specific Google search engines where you want your article to rank. In this case, it will be Google.co.in (Google India):

Now, click the blue “Save” button. As mentioned before, the tool will take a few seconds to collect the topic information (so you can finish that coffee before it gets cold!).

After the processing is done, click on the article title to open it in the Content Editor.

You will see the recommended Content Grade you will need to rank your page at the top of the search results in Google.co.in (Google India). The score is calculated by analyzing the top results based on word count, relevant keyword density, readability, and more. Based on our example topic, it is an A.

Note: Keep in mind that just getting an A does not guarantee that you’ll rank on the first page of Google within the week! It still takes time, great content and promotion.

You will also see the readability level required for your article. A minimum 12th-grade readability level is necessary for this particular content to rank at the top. The tool also displays the minimum word count for the article, which in this case is 3,500. The People Also Ask questions and competitor URLs are also in the language that you choose:

Similarly, if you wish to prepare content in Spanish on the topic “Qué es la escritura de contenido?” (which translates to “what is content writing?” in English) while analyzing the top-ranking pages for this keyword in Spanish on Google, you can easily do that using the ClickFlow Content Editor.

Follow the steps as suggested in the Hindi topic example above and you will find a list of relevant Spanish terms to include in your content.
